Easter 2018

"Finally...He Appeared to Me!"

April 1 ~ Easter [Resurrection] Sunday

The Chapel
2 gatherings:  9:09am & 11:00am.

The foundation of the Christian faith rests on the historical reality that Jesus died on a cross, rose from the dead, appeared to hundreds, and defeated death. His resurrection means that sin, death, hopelessness, selfishness & slavery do not win—Jesus does.
And since his resurrection was both in spirit & in the flesh - it radically shapes how we care for this world and prepare for the next.

Join us for a special celebration of Jesus - our Living Hope for today and tomorrow.

Resurrection Sunday will feature special songs, stories, family activities, and the best news the world's ever heard.
All are welcome.

NOTE FOR FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN:  On Easter our gatherings will have age-specific classes & activities for children as follows:

  • 9:09am - nursery-preschool-aged
  • 11:00am - nursery-12 yrs (grade 5/6)
  • Kids Easter activity/craft packs available at both gatherings for parents preferring their children to join them in the main sanctuary.

BAPTISMS ON EASTER SUNDAY!

easter baptism 2017
Baptism is a public declaration of faith in Jesus. It’s not a ritual to perform so that God would love you, save you, forgive you, or care for you. It represents our new life in Jesus.  And what better weekend to celebrate your newfound freedom than Resurrection Sunday!

NOTE:  After testimonies on Sunday morning, we'll gather at Kits Beach for a baptism beach celebration.  Baptisms will happen rain or shine.  Feel free to stick around and celebrate at the beach - weather depending
