Come Thou Long Expected Jesus // Advent 2015

Come thou long-expected Jesus - born to set Thy people free.

This year's Advent sermon series has us considering modern cultural challenges in light of the ancient promises of Christmas. Through the Hebrew prophets of Isaiah, Micah & Hosea, we’ll discover how the promise of a Saviour not-only addresses the problems of homelessness, injustice, corruption, brokenness & spiritual darkness, but our personal need for a redeemer.  As we look at our present with an eye to the future, may our hearts cry out together:  Come thou long expected Jesus.

May we grow in grace, in hope, in peace, in joy + wonder as we reconsider Christ in our past, Christ in our future, and Christ in our present.
